I'm sure there's many a folk looking for addresses to submit their work to. IF you got your own studios, own work, and all that, you should just be looking to get your word heard. I am far from what you got, but anyone whose ever heard me says I'm strong. I'm from FAR WEST TEXAS, just across the border from the newest murder capital of the world. I got alot to say. I'm far too grown to ever start a career, but my love for the music is why I do it. That and for the word. I get my feelings and word out about what I've seen in Hell's Pass. I've created my own beats, but for the love and appreciation that I have for artists, I get in on their beats. It's one of those things...you feel so deep about someone else's sh**, so you just add to it. If I don't respect or feel an artist, I won't f*** with their music. Alotta people say south ain't real hip hop, but I don't agree. Yeah, there's sh** out there that just too commercial, and should've been sold as a McDonald's commercial (don't get mad when they hit you wit tha Flex), but even East Coast had sh** that sold out. I love Biggie wit all my heart (and 36 revolutionized music just as he did), but I remember when people said Life After Death was a sellout, compared to other "double discs" that were gritty at the time (Wu-Tang, 2Pac, or even take it back to Ready 2 Die). Some people feel like 36 sellin' out a bit, but when you put out some ol' pop album (to make money) but still keep it grimey with the UNDERGROUND mixtapes, I say you're doing your job. These dudes have made it their life's work to get their music heard. But, they always have a way of triggering you to some of that original North, North sound. I been a 36 fan since before "Hit a Mutherf***a", been not all can be on that same level. I gotta say, these boys are my favorite duo passed the Mason-Dixon line, hands down. I love all 36, even before it was just the awesome twosome (back when it was an orgy of mutherf***as). These dudes inspire my music, and if you feel the same way, I'm sure that based on that appreciation, a true 36 spirit could come out on a track. Like I said, my music is not much more than dropping bars on instrumentals, but I'm sure if you a 36 fan, my lyrics will appeal to you. I won't drop a contact on hear (cuz these Internet Muthaf***as are pests), but I'm sure that I could help you find out how to get a demo at these boys. Prolly have to go through execs at their label, but sometimes those dudes actually listen to stuff that comes at them. I got some folks in Dallas that have nothing but demos on their Ipods. And they just shuffle to hear everything. Sorry to keep this sh** long, but the "3for9"s force me to talk (if you get it, you get it). Reply to this, if you want to hear a sample.
"From East Coast to the Bay, represent IT everyway.
You can tell I'm Hip Hop, from these words that I say."
