You just left Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Before leaving, you enjoyed a free dinner at a campus restaurant. My daughter was thrilled to be your server and appreciated the fact you spent some time with her for a photo and autograph. Although she didn't act disappopinted, she told me you didn't leave a tip.
She's got that job to earn a few extra bucks in addition to a full academic load and a university sports commitment. Assuming she did a good job as a server, I have to tell you I find that pretty disappointing on a few levels.
You might have assumed that something would be included from her boss for her service ( not the case) so didn't think that tipping was necessary. I bring this to your attention if you have a similar situation down the road. You're role models, very popular and a tremendous amount of people look up to you. I hope you don't forget that as your popularity increases.
