Man you guys need to listen to the music. Juicy and Paul don't rap about that devil sh** no more. And juicy never really did. But Paul definitely did. I don't think any of them ever "worshipped" the devil. I think lord loop and boo and Paul just Liked that dark evil devil sh** and referenced it and rapped about it to give their music a dark feel. Part of the reason boo koop and lord Are out is cause they couldn't stand the mainstream sh** Paul and juicy were getting into. If you knew three 6 and actually listen you would know they don't workshop theyjust rap about it. Except maybe Lord and koop lol. I could definitely see lord worshiping..but he says in"44 killers" you say i worship Satan Imaa send your ass to see em or something along those lines.
The music says everything. Just listen. Pauls old mistakes were definite devil sh**. Doesn't mean he worships him
Hahaha Just to let all you people on here know. 666 means nothing at all. Its not evil its not the mark of the beast its nothing but a typo lol. What is actully sapposed to be the mark of the beast is 616. Threw out time at some point it went from 616 to 666. RESEARCH IT! or better yet READ A FEW BIBLES lol. So in this case there name "Three 6 Mafia" has nothing to do with Satan. Just thought yall would like to know.
if you have mystic styles (three six) first album nationwide... you hear dj. paul say "imma satan worshipper on mystic styles the last song.. and everyone else is prasing satan.. but lord infamous is still satan worshipping till this day.
Hey..this is Kill, guitarist/songwriter for the horror-metal band, Three Sixes
We dig Three 6 Mafia - even were in talks of a tour together back in 2006 (via their Agency group).
Anyway..we do not worship satan either...it's a common misconception. But we put as much offensive and brutally true lyrics and musical content as we can - out into the general mainstream
For the youngn's in the crowd, their music originally started out in a genre called "Horrorcore". At the time, this genre was relatively low-key. Bone was one of the main groups that did this kind of music that made the charts. They talked about real life, period. Drugs, sex, crime, etc. To many people who were not exposed to this lifestyle, making a song like "Suck A N*gga D!ck" was offensive. People didn't know how to characterize it, so they said it was like a horror film. And, they marketed off of this, sampling beats of scary movies and talking about wild sh!t, that NOBODY else was talking about. Plus, when you put 36 in your name, people automatically ASSUME that you're a devil worshipper. It's easy to quickly judge and assume this. If you're a smart business person, you understand that if people are talking about you, then it's still all good. Look at NATAS, which has some of the illest lyrical content from that era. For the uneducated, write it on a piece of paper and look in the mirror. For those who know what I'm talking about, this whole image was a way for people to get their word out. Their word wasn't anything about God or the devil, but rather the everyday struggle. And for those that lived it, the everyday struggle can be anything from "gettin' some head" to gettin' locked up to raising children. These folks make music about life, as they see it. If you listen, you can easily see that anything that is said, referring to anything hell related, is metophoric speaking. Plus, for as much drugs these dudes do, it's not hard to see life in a different perspective than simply heaven and hell. And to touch on all that bullsh** about their sampling, saying they worship Lucifer and sh!t like that, IF you were even simple, you'd know you can look into the album credits and see that they take songs to create those effects. AND, those effects are only what you make of them. When I listen to "I Gotta Stay", I don't hear no Lucifer sh!t. I hear an' ol' school song about losing love. The majority of people who say 36 is about darker things, are high school kids who try to create drama, or zealous religious folks who protest on dead soldiers graves (aka whites; not all, but just google image that sh!t).
I'm from a zip code that is 36, that I've repped my whole life. That was MY hood, but I ain't on no worshipping anything...Bible says, thou shall not worship, but contradicts itself with plenty of "worship songs". But, I diverse, no matter what Lord Infamous said, he ain't in the group any more, so that can be scratched. Again, I respect the sh!t out of 36. I've been on them since way before "The Late Nite Tip". Early 90's, summer nights, rollin' in the hood, blowin' the lightest green ya ever seen, pushin' "No I'm not that n*gga that be hugged up, with you, but, I'm the one walkin' away, when yo mouth is full of nut." Ha...If that's devil worshippin', they every girl in the world is bad.
dj paul and juice may not have been heavy in to that but Lord was and your dumb as hell if you dont believe that and even if they did so what there sh** from back in the day still bumps hard
no they dont... its just southern shyt you wouldnt understand lol. its mainly just kinda gimmick i even think juicy j's dad is a preacher but im not sure i tihnk lord infamous might actually and DJ paul back in the day. when they werer hardxcore

whether infamous was really doin it or not we will never no.
i kno at some point lord infamous worshipped satan. it says in skinny pimp's wikipedia" In a recent interview (2008)with Dwayne Jefferson, a local radio host in Memphis, Skinny pimp revealed that Lord Infamous practiced witch craft and Demonology/Satanism at midnight for their success in the mid 90's. This was one of the reasons he left the group in 1996."
the weird thing is for some reason i remember it being paul and lord infamous but when i looked again jus says lord infamous, maybe they edited or maybe i remembered wrong.
neways when u listen to some old dj paul mixtapes and even some triple six mafia theres some straight devil sh**
I don't know the fellas personally and I have never had a chance to reason with them. Even though three sixes is supposed to be the sign of satan, (and Paul does have a lot of tats),
I did not get the impression that they are devil worshippers while watching their MTV show Adventures in Hollyhood, which gives insight to their personal lives. I believe Juicy's dad is a clergyman or something and giving back to the community by helping young children in the hood was a very kind and generous gesture, not quite the things satan is known for...
To the guitar player on this discussion, what is right with satan?
three 6 mafia is more than one person so the current members obviously dont but some of the old members probably just thought is was cool and hard so they rapped about it

satan worshipper, a thug is my profile- dj paul mystic stylez dayz
The name's meaning is "it started with three people in the group, and ended up with six; Three 6 Mafia" even though their original name was Triple Six Mafia, according to an interview with Juicy J
No they don't worship satan. Over time people just thought that they did cause of the music, but as you should all know Juicy's father is a preacher, and Pauls mother is a very spiritual person as well. They'll even tell ya that they don't worship satan. They just ain't got time to explain themselves to the whole world, and for the most part people still wouldn't belive then if they said they didn't, so they just feel like you should just run with what you think.

To the guitar player on this discussion, what is right with satan?
they use to make satanic songs, but not everyone rapped about it.
lord infamous, dj paul, koopsta knicca and gangsta boo are the ones i heard talk about it a lot.
but as they released more albums they converted from their roots and changed.
I think they did it for entertainment, and you just can't hear that music on mainstream cus not everyone will except it.
But a few ex members still stick to their roots
and that's the reason why they aren't as big as three 6 is.
and they don't have the production from juicy j and dj paul so yah...
i really don't know what to say about it now
